Families had a beautiful, summer-like day at The Arlington Memorial Gardens on Saturday, Oct. 6 for our annual Children's Fall Fest. More than 300 people attended a day of old-fashioned family fun and games, Lots of fun was had by all – playing games, bobbing for apples, decorating cookies, making bird feeders, taking train rides, participating in kid’s yoga, cavorting through the pumpkin patch, and even face painting.
Winners of the Candy Corn guess will be contacted this week to pick up your prize. Many donations were collected for the Dragonfly Foundation! Thank you for helping such a worthwhile organization and its efforts to help families.
The Dragonfly Foundation serves as a lifeline for pediatric cancer patients and their families. Your donation can make the difference between a dark day and one filled with hope and happiness. Dragonfly staff and volunteers work closely with community partners to make an immediate impact and to provide the best support and comfort services to patients and families.
