Arlington Wins Beautification Award from Colerain Chamber

The Colerain Chamber of Commerce presented the 2017 Beautification Award to Arlington at its Business Awards Dinner on Thursday, October 19th. The Beautification Award recognizes a Colerain business or organization “that improved the appearance and/or aesthetics of their facility or property in Colerain Township within the past twelve months.”  The Chamber produced the video above to feature our grounds as part of its presentation.

While the vast majority of Arlington is located in Springfield Township, it borders three other sub-governments: Mt. Healthy, North College Hill and Colerain Township.  However, in anticipation of the construction of additional facilities, Arlington purchased property in Colerain Township and incorporated it as a part of its grounds.

While the award is in recognition of improvements during the past year, Arlington has actually been engaged in a significant capital improvement program for the past three years including road improvements, installation of irrigation systems as well as numerous flower beds. Improvements will continue next year with even more flora and work on statuary and the installation of additional features.
