A seasoned group of professionals, the Executive Team is responsible for the daily operations of the organization including the care and maintenance of the grounds, the coordination and management of funeral services, family care, customer relations, marketing, sales, and the financial soundness of the company.

Daniel Applegate


Daniel Applegate, who came to The Arlington Memorial Gardens in 2001, leads the company both tactically and strategically, steering efforts in building and sustaining a vital organization where the highest priority is in focusing on families and all of their needs through the consistent practice of Renowned Service.  An admirer of Colin Powell, he subscribes to Powell's adage that, "If you're going to achieve excellence in big things, you develop the habit in little matters.  Excellence is not an exception, it's a prevailing attitude."

Cindy Maril

Director of Family Care

Cindy Maril joined The Arlington Memorial Gardens as a member of the Family Care Team in January, 2013.  A native of Oklahoma, she and her family lived in Chicago for twelve years prior to relocating to Cincinnati.  She was educated at the University of Central Oklahoma's School of Business and was a small business owner while living in Chicago.

Ann Meyer

Vice President, Administrative Services

Ann Meyer is the Director of Administrative Services and has been employed at The Arlington Memorial Gardens for over thirty years.  A native of Cincinnati, a graduate of Finneytown High School and the University of Cincinnati, over time she has been responsible for various aspects of customer service but specialized in managing the designing and manufacturing of bronze memorials.  That experience has provided her with unique insights into the remembrance process including the significance of memorialization, even as traditional burial rituals have evolved.

Sarah Muckenfuhs

Controller/Director of Human Resources

Sarah Muckenfuhs has been employed at The Arlington Memorial Gardens since 2006 and has served as the company's Controller/Human Resources Director since 2009. She holds a business degree from Southern Ohio College as well as an accounting degree from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College.
