2008 Summer Concert Schedule

Concert Series. Please note the dates for each concert and the
corresponding rain date for each.  If weather is questionable on

Life Line Screening

WHEN: Thursday, July 24th
WHERE: The Arlington Reception Center


Protect yourself from a stroke.  Get the answers from a few simple,
inexpensive and quick tests.
The mission of Life Line Screening is to make people aware of an
undetected health problem through health screenings and tests and
encourage them to seek follow up care with their physician.
Highly trained ultrasound teams are on staff across the nation to
bring preventive screenings to convenient locations in local
communities for area residents.  Neighborhood screenings are are
conducted in places of worship or community and senior centers.
Arlington's leadership is pleased to bring this important preventative
testing to our community.

2008 Senior Expo

The 2008 Senior Expo, sponsored by the Council on Aging of
Southwestern Ohio was held on Tuesday, May 20th at Coney
Island for the 31st annual celebration of Senior  Citizens Day
where thousands of
seniors converged to
enjoy the camaraderie,
gather information as
well as lot of other
goodies.  Arlington
sponsored an Information
Booth where personnel
interacted with those
attending and distributed
general information,
Arlington Heritage Certificates and engaged passers-by with
Abraham Lincoln trivia, in anticipation of the display of the
replica of the Lincoln casket and the portrayal of Lincoln during Memorial Day Weekend activities at Arlington.  Those registering at the Arlington Information Booth were part of a drawing for four $50 gas cards.  This is a wonderful day of fun, activities and interest for the areas senior citizens and Arlington not only participates but fully supports the Council on Aging for planning this event. While at the expo, Arlington sponserd a raffel drawing for 4 $50.00
 Gas Cards.  The Winners were

Deanna Kimbrough.
